Book report

Now that i haved finished reading the book i can say that it was a great book. The tone of the book in my opinion is DRAMA. The main branches of drama in this book are suspence and excitement.

a – Suspence – I think that the book has a LOT of suspence. Part of this suspence is shown when Theo and Kee are trying to escape, the whole ESCAPING process is full of suspence. I love when Theo gets into the building looking for Kee and there are shoots all over the place. I really thought that they were going to kill Theo. From the part that Theo knows that Kee is pregnant the book gets very interesting. I would describe this suspence as PACIFIC suspence mixed with ACTION. There is not much blood, there is enough to get me excited.

b – Excitement – There is a lot of this too in the book. I think that this word can be different for different people. I mean that what i think is exciting might not be for other person. But i will talk about what made me think that this book was exciting. First of all i think is really exciting that a woman is the only hope of humanity and and the same time she almost gets killed several times. I also find very exciting the fact that they have to pass through all this things to escape, they can trust no one. I find exciting the way that things turn out, and the action they go through is very very exciting.

Over all i really enojyed the book. As i said on my blogs the vocab is easy and the meaning of the book itself is very understandable. The level of Drama is perfect, it is not forced Drama, things in the book happen and they by themself have drama.

2 – My favorite character of the book is Theo, his son died and his wife was killed. The book gives you the impression that he has lost all type of hope, but his actions prove another thing. This also relates with the fact that the book touches HOPE a lot. Not in a direct way, but the whole book is about that.

I think that the author is commenting on it. I think he is trying to express in a way that there will always be hope. The book is like a dark room, Kee is like this little light that it gets bigger and bigger. Hope is a common issue in human life. People tend to loose hope quickly, but the book clearly shows the reader that it should be different, that hope should be the last thing you loose.

There are many things that i could talk about but i want to focus on HOPE and the other thing i want to talk about is humanity! I have no doubt that one day we are going to pay for what we are doing, we might not live it but we are accumulating a huge consequence for our future generations. We do not realize it but we are causing things that cant be fixed. We need to be careful with what we do.

It was a great year. i hpe that next year will be better.

Last book post

This is my last book post of the year! I still need to finish my book, so this post i will write about all the book i ahve read during the year.

It is really hard to pick a favorite book for this year because there were a lot. One of them was DEPT OF HONOR by Tom clancy, also one of my favorite is the last one THE CHILDREN OF MEN.

Compared to last year i would day that this year was less exiting than the last. Last year i was more involved with reading new books. Maybe because last year i really understood was reading was. Beore i used to think about reading that it was boring, but since i started reading Tom Clancys books i understood that there is more on reading than jusv do in it for a grade.

Over all i have enjoyed reading books this year and i hope that next year our new teacher does not change this method. Cause it does not only help us with our grades but also it expands our vocab.

One book i am looking forward to read is Mafia…i heard it is really a good book. It has suspence and blood. I have always liked mafia stories. I am really exited about next year, i hope that i will read a book that will be the best of my life.

It was a good year and i will miss mr c for the first semester of the year.

I have got to a part where Dr Theo thinks he has found a pregnant woman. If this is real then that woman and her baby are the only hope for humans to survive. The book also mentions a migration of people to wealthy cities around the world. This migration occurs becuase some Europians societies have collapsed.

Talking about the woman again, this suces makes an interesting point in the book. How did she got pregnant? well we know how but we do not know why. If all man are sterile then who got her pregnant? Where is this guy? Is there anything special about her?

All this questions came to my mind. And a light of hope came to me. Actually i think the the author did a great job presenting it this way. Because it is not Dr theo solution. She just got pregntant mistiriously. Maybe as i keep reading i will find out why?

The book until know has become bery very interesting. I really did not expect much from this book but it turn out that it is a really good book. As i keep reading the book and finish it in this next week i hope that it just gets better and better.

It does not matter how the book finish. At the end i will say that it was a good book and that i enjoyed reading it. It was an exellent choice to end up the year. I really like this book.

Book post

I have started reading the book and it is interesting. It is about how Dr Theodore lives in England and how society is decaying becuase human males are sterile.

I find this plot very interesting becuase it makes me wonder why they are sterile and how are they going to fix that problem. The thing is that if male humans continue to be sterile human beings are coming to an end. Without reproduction there is no way to survive.

I find Dr theo a very smart person, he realizes that things are not going well and he is looking for solutions.

I have not read much but until now the book has become quiet interesting. The book has turn a way since the begining. I say this because it is known that the book plot is going to be Dr theo trying to find a solution to save the human spiece or at least that is what i think.

I think the book has an easy vocab. Your eyes slide the page and it is very hard to find a word i do not understand. This makes the reading faster and maybe more interesting.

I also do not get sleepe when i am reading, that is good. I thought i was going to get bored but the plot makes me want to read more and more.

Until now i could say it is a good and interesting book. I hope that at the end i would be saying the same thing.

The book i am reading is called THE CHILDREN OF MAN. I do not know much about the book. Actually i am reading it because mr C told me it was a good book. I do not know if contains action, romance, blood, or suspence. I read the back part and it looks like it is a futuristic book.

About this types of book, i really do not expect much. This futuristic book have always been atractive but have not been the best. I hope that this book will have a good drama. By good i mean a drama that keeps me reading and does not make me sleep.

I think there is a movie about this book, i am not sure. I will read the book and try to see the movie to comapre. I really like comparing book with movies. The thing about movies is that they do not make you use your imagination like in books, but good movies for me are better than some books. A good example of this is the lord of the rings. I think that the movie is much better than the book.

I hope that this book is good and that i will be happy after reading it. As i said before i do not expect too much from it but i hope that it will surprise me. This is the last book of the year so i really want to finish it fast!!!  i have enojyed reading book this year.

I did not liked this S very much. I cant say i enjoy reading it. It was ok but i expected more of it. This is the first book of Tom clancy that left on me a poor sensation. The tone of the book as usual is Drama. The two branches i am going to talk about are suspence and exitement.

If more information is spread he will pay for it. He starts looking for this hacker. The suspence in the book is based on this problem. On how alex is going to find this hacker.

b-) Exitement – As i always say if there is supence there is also exitement. I found a bit of ecxitement by the fact that the US governement is being hacked. I found that beru interesting because the US is suposed to be the best country in the world but is haveing trouble with a smart guy. I think that is exiting because i think it is like the US has the technology and everything to eliminate this guy but is not about power, it is about how smart you are.

2-) I think that the author is commenting on life. I know for sure that he has not lived what he wrote in the book. But you can clearly see that he in some parts of the book takes a side. In my opinion he does this to give more emotion to the book. A theme he does not mention but he touches a lot in the book is fear. The US, the most powerful country in the world is fearfull about a guy. This shows me that it does not matter how poweful you are you will always be vulnerable in some aspect.

As i said before i found this book not as exiting as others. I  really hope that the next book i read would have more action and more drama.

The book is not very interesting to be honest! My favorite character till now is alex, he is the one in charge of going after this hacker that is putting secret US stuff in the internet. He is my favorite character cause he knows a lot of computers and it is really cool to see hoy he try to trace this hacker. Appart from that i would not have choosen a favorite character.

I wonder who this hacker is and how he maneged to enter the US secret service. The thing is that since everything is based on computers and it is a futuristic  book. Since everything is based on computers a virus would be a terrible thing for them.

THe worse thing happened, a virus got into the system and is affecting everything. THe book is very repetitive about this, a virus causing chaos.

What i do not like about the book is that it is repetitive and i do not find the main problem very engaging with the reader. i think that the author did not spend a lot of time writing about the main problem. A good book would have a good drama and that of course would give the book suspence, but books like this do not have good dramas and their suspence is forced. What i mean by forced is that the author is taking some details and making them very important. He is expandind something little and that is not good. I hope that as i aproach the end the book will get better.

I think this book is  interesting. Is called NET FORCE. I decided that i was going to stop reading Sherlock Holmes because it is too repetitive. It is always the same drama with different characters or problems. I am also addicted to Tom clancys books.

I love reading Tom Clancys book, they have the drama i need. Sherlock Holmes was ok but it was not enough to make me read more. I would recomend sherlock Holmes to people that like drama but as i call it  PACIVE DRAMA. This drama keeps you interested but there is not action with it.

I really like this book…It is based on computers and technology. The US has this net with all their secrtets and someone manages to infiltrate a virus. There will be a lot of suspence i know it. I do not know how the book is going to end and that is one good thing about Tom Clancys books, you never know how the book is going to end. My guess is that this virus is going to take all the US secret information away and the US government is going to panic. Eventually they are going to catch the guy that invented the virus but i think they are going to work hard to do that.

I dont know much about the book yet but im planning on finishing it in one week! that will be a personal goal. At the same time i am going to be careful not to lese details.

The Tone of the book is DRAMA. The book is about how Sherlock Holmes helps Mary Morstan. She starts recieving this weird pearls anually. She does not know who sends them or why. After a while the person who sends this pearls wants a meeting with her. She gets scared and goes to Sherlock Holmes, He escolts her to the meeting and finds out that this guy is the son of Major sholto, which is a very close of the missing father of Mary Morstan. Later they find out that the father of Mary Morstan and Major sholto had this great treasure. By some reason the father of Mary Morstan dissapears and Major sholto is forced to hide it. Years later when Major sholto is about to die he plans to give the location of the treasure to his twins sons. Unfortunatly he dies before doing that. After some years one of his sons founds the treasure.

-Suspence – I think there is a lot of suspence in this story. First of all by the simple fact that Mary Morstan was recieving weird pearls. Not knowing by who oir why. Not knowing this was very good, at least for me. It kept the drama alive. As i was reading this i was wondering who was this guy. What did he want. why did he send pearls. All this questions crossed my mind while i was reading.

-Excitement- I think there was excitement in this story. I like when there are crimes to solve or hidden treasures. This makes me read the story more passionatly. Personally i felt the excitement knowing there was a treasure hidden. Later the brother of Thaddeus Sholto finds the treasure. As i always say there us no suspence with out excitement. As there is no stars without a sky.

The book has many themes but the most important one for me is self confidence. The ability to trust in your self no matter what other people say. Sherlock Holmes has this great quality. He does not change in what he beliefs unless facts prove him wrong.

The story has not much to say about this particualr theme. Actually this is just a quality of Sherlock Holmes personality which is reflected in the whole story.

I think that the book is observing. I do not think that the author has much to comment about it. This is a non real story so, it is a lot harder to comment on something you have not lived than something that you did lived. The author has not lived this so that is why i think the book is more interested in observing  it rather than comment on it.

I think that the book is very parcial. Meaning that it does not favor any side. The book itself does not has more that one side so the author can only observe. I really like this because there are some authors that like to favor some sides. which makes you belief in what the writer beliefs. I think that every story based on drama should be like this. Neutrality is very important for the reader, it gives them the freedom to choose a side and it does not force them to choose one.

Over all i liked the story. I think is is a good way to start reading different types of things. Before i would only read TOM CLANCYS books but this types of book make me realize that there are different types of DRAMA and that i need to explore this different types to become a good reader of DRAMA books.

I am reading THE SIGN OF FOUR, this book is about how Mary Morstan goes to Sherlock Holmes for help. I have not read much. Until now i know that Mary Morstans dad has disappeared. The book says that she was going to meet him in a hotel, i do not know why. The only thing I know is that his dad is missing and she goes to shelock holmes for help.

Until now I thing that the plot is good. The book does not give you a lot of information but that in a way is good. It makes you think about what might be the causes and what might happen later. I do not know yet for how long Marys dad has disappeared, by not knowing this I do not know if he is alive or not.

I do know that sherlock holmes is going to help her. I asume and I base this on my previous experiences reading this types of books, that he is going to find Marys dad alive and he is going to capture the responsible guys.

I might be wrong, but in general this is what happens.

My perffect ending would be that Shelrock finds Marys dad dead. And that the criminals left some clues on the body. I would love if Sherlock solves the mistery but when he goes to get them. It is to late, they left.
